About Josephine

Josephine Chong graduated from NUS Law in 1989 and was placed on the Dean’s List. Since her admission to the Singapore Bar in 1990, Josephine has been indulging in her lifelong passion of litigating in Court on behalf of clients who need her assistance. Apart from the various high profile and legal landmark cases she has argued, Josephine also, in deserving cases, fights for the underdog, especially women who need her assistance to cope with the aftermath of broken marriages and to feed and shelter the children. Some of her legal journeys are highlighted in this website.

Outside legal practice, Josephine’s other passion is tennis, one which she pursues with no less vigour. In 2001, she took a 3-month “sabbatical” to participate in a series of amateur tennis tournaments in the United Kingdom. She even won one of the tournaments proving that her combative spirit extends to more than one type of court!
